I'm playing Warcraft III: Reforged for the First Time. And I think it's fine, I think most of the game's criticism was directed at its multiplayer but I prefer to play the single-player campaign of RTS games. I'm not an expert on real-time strategy games, the only ones I played prior to Warcraft III are StarCraft and the original Age of Empires.

I have been replaying the campaign recently, and noticed a good amount of gamebreaking bugs. Here are major examples I found: In the Night Elves mission “Ruins of Dalaran”, The Nature’s Blessing upgrades is bugged. You can buy it instantly, but nothing happens. and you can keep buying it to waste more money. In the Undead mission “The Dark Lady”, the side quests cannot be completed

Pricewise Reforged is worth $30 if u never played the game, the new graphics are not that horrible for single player modes. WC3 is still a good game but its old, so the campaign is not amazing by todays standards. There is a fan-made campaign remake in progress (only first 2-3 chapters are finished so far) but it will get better over time.

It's only perk, if you wanna call it that is benefitting from SC2s ai and pathfinding. But that's not really the authentic campaign experience imo. Reforged is, short of playing the original SD game, the closest experience to authentic WC3. For 15 bucks, it's worth it. Assuming you don't cheat, the 9 campaigns should keep you busy for a few weeks. udj5R.
