Ihave a wired 360 controller (not official, an @Play controller from gamestop). The game doesn't seem to recognise it as a 360 controller and the triggers don't work. Looking online, I saw that people were suggesting x360ce, but that didn't work for me. The game still didn't recognise my controller.
Iuse x360ce to get my Xbox one controller to work just like a console. Google for the pc controller fix go AC1 and you can get a working profile for the game. I use a wired controller, not sure if it matters. That’s all I got. Hopefully it helps.
Touse PS5/PS4 controllers and stop keyboard conflicts on AC:origins on steam you have to change "ACO.ini" with notepad found in "C:\Users\***username**\Documents\Assassin's Creed Origins" your "input" should look like this which looks silly because its xbox but it works: SelectedPad=XBOX 360/ONE
Ialso am having this issue with the bluetooth xbox one controller but i did found a work around for me but it requires you to have the controller wired. Best method i did was use my old samsung s7 edge charger cable as a wired connection. I am not familiar with the actually name of the USB connector. #14.

AC3and most new games have native support for the 360 controller, so it'll assign sensible bindings for it automatically. In your document folder should be an assassin's creed 3 folder with an "Assassin3.ini" file in it. Open it and scroll
Iknow this is an old thread but in case you still need this or someone else gets here from google like me, here's the solution: Go to C:\Users\USER\Documents\Assassin's Creed Syndicate and edit Find these lines: [Wireless Controller DefaultBindings] Button1=1 Button2=0 Button3=3 Button4=2. and.
playedaround and fixed it; this is how: once you have XBCD drivers, open up the XBCD utility. On the first tab "Xbox", in the "buttons" section, change "LT" and "BT" into buttons, for example, 11 and 12. This will make the triggers be recognized as buttons rather than axes. Then on the second tab "Windows", again in the "buttons" section, set
