I've had the same KTM branded Touratech top box on 3 KTM's now - its tough and watertight, looks the part on the bike, the strap points on the top are handy for lashing on an additional bag, simple box shape which is easy to pack, takes 1 full face helmet, it does need the extra mounting frame but that is transferable bike to bike.

I've noticed that KTM has different procedures for setting the 1090/1190 chain tension. The 2015 1190S manual says 40-45mm on the side stand. The 2016 1190R manual says 40-45mm on the center stand. It would make sense if it was the other way round as the R has longer swingarm travel.
