What I noticed worked was running Steam in administrator mode. To do this, shut down Steam through task manager, find the Steam app/desktop app, right click it and run it as admin. That worked for me. If it doesn't, browse Far Cry's local files, go to "bin" and set all of the FarCry5 exe's to administrator priviliges in properties >compatibility.Steam: Rightclick on your game and open the properties then add "-skipintro 1" to the launch options. Uplay: Open your FC4 installation path and search for the FC4 exe file, create a shortcut on the desktop, right click the shortcut and add "-skipintro 1" behind the targetline. #1.

also if your running windows 10 launch the game in a windows 7 compatabilty may help. right click on the games .exe file. select properties. select the compatability tab. check the box that says run as Administrator. set it to run in a windows 7 compatabilty mode.
