All it is, is a matter of pressing ESC a few times while constantly moving your mouse. Yup it worked, was that simple, thank you ! You don't need to spam the ESC key. Just hit Shift+Tab to open the Steam menu thing then Shift+Tab again to exit. Guaranteed way to get the mouse back when it stops working.
